Over the past few months I have been in the process of adding many of my reviews to goodreads One of the things I have noticed is that when I firsts started writing about books I really didn't write a whole lot The first few years of SlashReaders are actually pretty terrible While I'd like to think that I'm somewhat better now I'm not so sure I originally read Peter Kasting's novel in 2004 while I was studying abroad I did a lot of reading during that point in my life for a variety of reasons I have a great deal of fond memories of hours spent sitting in my window overlooking the English countryside loosing myself in a book My original thoughts on Peter Kasting's novel include only the following I enjoyed this book uite a bit is was an engaging tale with a couple of beautiful relationships Though I hated what happened at the end it was still a good book But it also dealt with some interesting issues or at least touched of them it didn't really deal with a lot of them in depth in a way but they were there But it was also a fairly believable novel it wasn't way out there it was well written and engagingNow I must say that having gone back I'm less impressed with this book than I was then There are a lot of elements that at a younger age I did not mind over looking letting slide or simply suspending my disbelief But despite that I did still enjoy the book and the story
