    I enjoyed this book But I struggled a bit with the main characters' relationship and I kind of wanted Anna to be with the the hot sexy rockstar What can I say I won't give away spoilers but I found myself thinking her main sueeze police officer Nick Gibson acted like a total oaf at times I also got tired of him pointing out his Sergeant title He freuently says Not detective sergeant or some variation with the same sentiment It was cute the first time or two but he got a bit carried away Okay Nick we get it You are a Sergeant NOT a detective I do however like his style as a police officer He's pretty low key and respectful something I admire in his line of work More about a certain person's mysterious blackouts might have been helpful as well Over all though this was a fun fairly light minus the murder scenes mystery romance with a good supernatural twist and a few great turns along the way However I guessed the killer from the beginning and kept uestioning why they didn't look closely at that particular individual as a possible suspect Still I have to admit I did doubt myself than once as the story progressed As always I love Lisa's references to the Pacific Northwest considering I am also a resident of the area I was able to see perfectly the locations she referred to something I appreciate I am looking forward to Nick's daughter getting attention in future installments I like her character and really looked forward to her scenes in the story Despite my minor complaints this was still a strong four star read for me I love Lisa's work and will grab up book three in this series when it releases

    Okay First of all I have to say 'thank you' to my husband for recommending and loaning me this book It was fantasticSecond the title had me singing the first line of What I Did For Love inserting WITCH for TODAY Having a title that makes you sing is fun And the title also keeps you guessing all the way through Sorry I won't throw in spoilers as much as I want toI should have given this book a lower rating for not starring a strong fem But with Sgt Nick Gibson as the lead he is at least empowering if not protective of the strong women in his life his daughter Veronica and his girlfriend Annaliese CrossAs exciting as the story is I like how the author Lisa Olsen takes the time to teach newbies about Wicca and the flow of positive energies Anna even takes Veronica into a ritual to invoke safety for herself and her father I felt this was done well yet not so deep that baby Wiccans can't see a little about how the spirituality works KudosOther parts of the book are just plain scary and exciting I wanted to go to sleep when I was at 80% but had to see it all through Thereby a 530 sleep time Good thing I had a nap yesterday Though this story ended with most threads tied up I saw a stray which makes me look forward to another Nick Gibson novel Yay

    I have been reading Lisa Olsen’s books for years now and one thing that I have come to learn as absolute truth she does not disappointIn her newest book Kiss the Witch Goodbye we meet up once again with Sargent Nick Gibson and his lovely witch Annalise as they once again find themselves in the middle of a police investigation that is surrounded with witch craftWe met these wonderful characters in the book Pretty Witches All in A Row when Nick and Annalise meet for the first timeOne thing that’s wonderful about these stories though is that you don’t have to read the first one to understand the second one Yes this is the second book about the same characters but they are both standalone novels without cliffhangers So while the book leaves you wanting to know about these characters it ends in a way that lets you walk away with the feeling that the story was completeIn Kiss the Witch Goodbye we meet rock stars Jax May and his twin sister Ruby Jax is not only Annalise’s former boyfriend but he’s also at the top of FBI Agent Natalie Fox’s suspect list Natalie the one who just so happens to have a past with NickCan Annalise look beyond her past relationship with Jax to see the evidence that can’t be deniedCan Nick see beyond the evidence that Natalie is so sure of to see that maybe there’s to the story than he ever thought possible before Annalise entered his lifeI’m not telling you’ll just have to read the book to find out ;

    Kiss the Witch GoodbyeBy Lisa OlsenA standalone book in the Sargent Gibson series by Miss Lisa is indeed a hit for me but it wasn't immediately my favorite book Although I realize Sgt Gibson is the main character I love Annaleise all of Miss Lisa's female leads At first I feared it was just another detective story but my feelings changed as I read on waiting for the magicThe addition of additional POVs was great But the turmoil between Sgt Gibson and Annalise made my stomach turn Veronica is a great new addition as far as being featured Her loyalty to both her father and Anna is endearing I loved getting to know how the minds of the two women in Nick's life work As for Jackson May he's definitely misunderstood Without giving too much away I can say he's living a life of someone he's not Ruby and Natalie two other fairly important characters really take the reader for a spinAll in all I give this book a good review and recommend it to other readers with varied interests Don't let the book andor series name lead you to believe it's something on the surface it may not be beneath Read it for yourself no matter what type of genre you likeLooking forward to another book in the series

    A whodunit with a witch as one of the main characters I love itJust as with the first book in this series Pretty Witches All in a Row Ms Olsen keeps you in suspense until the very end Plot twists are believable and funOne of the things that I enjoy about her writing is that although there's a romantic angle to the story she omits explicit bedroom details This makes it a lovely read
