I stumbled across these books, part 1 68 pages per, part 2 85 pages perpart 3 53 pages per, for free onOver all, this story this is for all 3 books was good Normally I don t even bother with books under 75 pages, free or not, since I read so fast it doesn t take me long to finish them I feel short stories usually lack something, whether it s world building or character building or emotional connection to the characters I also feel put off that books i I stumbled across these books, part 1 68 pages per, part 2 85 pages perpart 3 53 pages per, for free onOver all, this story this is for all 3 books was good Normally I don t even bother with books under 75 pages, free or not, since I read so fast it doesn t take me long to finish them I feel short stories usually lack something, whether it s world building or character building or emotional connection to the characters I also feel put off that books in a series are this short I m on a tight budget, so i want to get the most out of my book purchases, just don t feel books with small page counts are good investments for me But I figured that with 3 books, for a total of 206 pages perfor free, was worth at least giving them a try The beginning 1st book is very slow flowing a very confusing read, there were to many similar names for the demon lords introduced to me too quickly, which made it hard to figure out who I was reading about or why they had similar names I also felt like I was missing part of the beginning of the story, that some one deleted the first 20 30 pages of world character building so I can understand what s going on what the heck was going on between the characters It was so bad that I almost quit reading in book 1 After quite a way into book 1 it sort of worked itself out the flow picked up enough to pull me in Each of the first 3 books in the series leaves off with a big cliff hanger, which I understand why authors do it, but still hate that, especially on such low page count books All 3 books took me about 3 1 2 hours to read I was bummed at the cliff hanger at the end of book 3 that the books being short, made my decision to skip the remaining 2 books, as I just didn t feel it was worth 2.99 for each of the remaining books I think this series should have been 2 at most 3 books instead of 5 I think if book one was re worked, enough to not feel like the reader is missing a previous book or something, that it would of helped my appreciation of the story, over all help keep readers from quitting By the end of book 3, I was enjoying this story, hated it to stop
