I bought this on a whim because I loved the cover and follow the author on Facebook I'm so glad I did King Wolf is a great collection of stories Three tales following a single main character's journey of discovery It's full of love and loyalty supernatural and dreams Even the afterword written by Steven Savile is beautiful It has a happy ending King Wolf is a fantastically wonderful short read Loved it

Interesting read I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned that sometimes the story seems to be strange purely for the sake of being strange somewhat to its own detriment That said I enjoy reading new things and this book certainly is uniue It seems like the author was very passionate about the story but it feels like some of the world being imagined never uite made it out onto the pagesAll things said King Wolf was intriguing and short enough that I didn’t feel betrayed by any of its faults

I took one look at the cover of this book and knew I had to read it I think a lot of people will be the same when you see an amazing cover it makes you want to read the book to see what inspired such talent Thankfully the talent on the cover is eualled to the talent on the pages Steven Savile has a way of grabbing hold of you with his words and not letting go I could have easily read this book in one sitting but wanted to savour it so instead I read it over a couple of days Even the dedication had my full attention and let's face it not many can say that These three short stories are filled with love betrayal guilt and a wonderfully happy ending

Interesting set of three short stories Sometimes gets a little strange for the sake of being strange but overall it's a fun read
